Farm to Family continues to demonstrate Highmark Wholecare’s commitment to meeting communities where they are—providing food, strengthening partnerships, increasing access to resources, and creating meaningful opportunities to support healthier households. To date, Highmark Wholecare has served over 6,000 families and shared over 100,000 pounds of produce with the community.
The dedication of Amber and Twin Rose staff, Latino Connection, the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, and participating community organizations helped make the event series successful. This further strengthened the initiative by connecting residents with maternal health, dental care, mobile healthcare, lead prevention, and member support resources.
